With a tremendous number of entries in the Boys and Girls events in the marinaWEST U/14 Asian Tournament, entries are now officially closed as on 28 September 2008, and the Acceptance List is published on the website.

 The withdrawal dealine is 05 October 2008.

The marinaWEST U/14 Asian Tennis Events will be comprised of one leg of the Asian U/14 Circuit Tournament, as well as the end of season Asian U/14 Championship.

Both competitions will be played from 10-28 October 2008, at the BTF Tennis Center in the University of Bahrain, Isa Town.

The sponsorship deal was confirmed in a signing ceremony that took place at the marinaWEST Sales Center. In attendance we Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF) president H.H. Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohamed bin Salman Alkhalifa, marinaWEST managing director Mahmood Janahi, and other officials from both parties.

Players competing in their age group had the opportunity to play in the higher age groups to play more matches and gain experience, and the doubles events were a round robin.

The sponsorship comes in line with the bank's objectives of supporting the development of sports activities within the kingdom. It will play a big role in helping the Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF) mold young players and help them reach their aspirations of pursuing the sport of tennis at a higher level.
